EDIT: What's all this noise in here? I was aslumber in my Somnium Chamber and what should I hear but a loud DIN? Oh-! Forgive me. At first I suspected the ruckus originated from a back-ally zeppelin derby. But oh! It's something far more utile: a band of industriuos imagesmiths at my door! With a Daily Deviation! Had I not accidentally fused my hat to my head this week's end, it'd be off to you all! Tea, anyone?

Daily Deviation

Given 2011-02-18
Hey steampunk fans, it's Vector Resource Friday again! Suggester's words: Gears for the Industrious by ~dinn is an awesome tutorial for making gears in Illustrator CS4. Not only that, but the artist stays in character throughout the tutorial which makes it an amazing deviation whether you plan to make use of the tutorial or not. Awesome Tutorial, the few times that I have tried making my own gears I did it with the pen tool and tried to just draw them. They were not bad but were not great either. Thank you for the Tutorial, Im sure I will put this to great use later.

I will try my hand at making a Steampunk object of unnecessary size!

Might I suggest gargantuan? However, the scale of monolithic cannot be ignored, either.

Gods' peed.
